The business today known as Richmond Saddlery has been well established and operating in the Top of The South Island for in excess of twenty five years.

Our connection to Richmond Saddlery has been first as clients, followed by assisting past owners in the day to day operations of the Saddlery and now as its current owners since 2001.

We jointly have over sixty years experience in various equine and industry interests. Pony Club, Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, Riding Clubs, Showing, Breedng of Performance Horses, competition Carriage Driving, working and showing Heavy Horses.

We endeavour to provide a full and we trust a user friendly service, If you can’t find what you are looking for why not drop us a line, our knowledgeable and experienced staff will endeavour to meet your requirements. Chances are we may already have it in stock with in our store.

As with previous owners, Richmond Saddlery continues to extend its range of local and imported equine essentials. These are carefully chosen and in most cases all used by us personally. This to provide a more personal interface with the equipment that we offer.

We will endeavour to supply you with products of a quality you require and at a price that meets your expectations.

In store we carry a range of Saddlery items, horse feeds, supplements and many varied liquids, creams, herbal and topical remedies, with staff who can assist and provide guidance if necessary for you to make an informed and appropriate product choice.
